So I've been using firefox to listen to music on youtube for a very long time, especially with the video background play fix plugin that came out back when youtube tried to prevent background video playing. It worked well on my wiko darkside then on my oneplus one.

Now I got myself a honor view 10 and I'm having issues playing youtube videos in the background. Whenever I start a video and lock my phone, it will play the video then stop at random times. Sometimes the video will keep playing for a few minutes after switching to another app or locking my phone, sometimes it only plays for a few seconds.

I know that the plugin works otherwise it would instantly stops whenever I leave firefox. So I suspect that android decides to pause the app for some reason, despite having more than half the ram free.

I'm not sure if that's the best sub to post this but that's where I found out about the plugin in the first place.

Doesn't the maker of the plugin you're using offer a possibility to ask questions or report bugs? You will most likely get more helpful responses there, or find reports from others with the same problem and the responses they got.

Maybe wrong forum or better wrong website to ask your question? What has this to do with Security(.nl)?
All i think Android 4.4.23 is no longer supported..... That is a security issue.....

Did you try it with different players, Do you have the same with spotify?
