De arrestatie van de auteur van de Sasser worm heeft dan alle aandacht in de media gekregen, de aanhouding van de verantwoordelijke voor de Phatbot trojan, kan waardevolle informatie opleveren over de handel in zombie PCs. Met Phatbot geinfecteerde machines zouden op het Internet tekoop worden aangeboden om spam en virussen te verzenden en DoS-aanvallen uit te voeren. Complete netwerken van geinfecteerde PCs zouden door virusschrijvers, spammers en anderen via IRC worden uitgewisseld en verhandeld. Zo betaalde een spammer vorig jaar nog 500 dollar voor 10.000 geinfecteerde hosts, sindsdien zijn de prijzen echter omhoog gegaan en zijn spammers 10 dollar cent per besmette PC kwijt. (The Register)

makes. Microsoft is still working on a new process, we want
to give Mr. Jaschan some money to at least hire a lawyer to
stand against the troll called Microsoft!

the right thing by making this alarm call. When will people
realise that microsofts base products are not fit to be
subjected to the hostile environment that the internet is
these days?

Virus schrijvers zijn geen helden maar personen met een
minderwaardigheids complex en zich zo willen bewijzen, ik hoop dat de

my employer is having a hard time not to fire people. this stupid virus didn't
exactly help

wijzen ze ons wel op de lekken.
Laat de makers maar eens eerst een goed programma maken voor ze het
uitbrengen.
Hoeveel bugs hebben ze al gevonden in XP ??? veel te veel naar mijn idee,
niet om hun werk goed te praten,helemaal niet, maar toch...................
En ook weer niet alle virusschrijvers kun je over een cam scheren vindt ik dan.
Maar iemand die een wereldwijde besmetting veroorzaakt mag van mij nooit
meer een PC aanraken, dat is ja hun grootste hobby, dus die moeten ze hun
dan ook maar gelijk afnemen. En verder een paar jaar straf.
