Via een kennis uit de VS ontving ik onderstaand bericht.
Moeten we straks gaan betalen voor het gebruik van Google reCaptcha op onze websites of geldt dit niet voor iedereen?

Earlier this year, we informed you about the upcoming migration of all Google reCAPTCHA keys to Google Cloud projects by the end of 2025.
We're now reaching out to inform you that your reCAPTCHA keys are eligible for migration.
What you need to do
You have two options:
Option 1: Manually migrate your keys
Manually migrate your keys from reCAPTCHA Classic to a Google Cloud project by visiting the reCAPTCHA migration page. This will allow you to specify the Google Cloud project you’d like to associate with your key.
Once you complete this process, you will get access to the following features via Google Cloud console:
• Enterprise-grade dashboarding
• Monitoring
• Reporting
• Logging
• Auditing
• Access control
Option 2: Allow for automatic association
If you take no action within 90 days of receiving this communication, your keys will automatically be associated with a Google Cloud project. You’ll be notified when the process is complete.
Usage and Billing:
Your monthly reCAPTCHA usage has averaged 30 assessments over the past 3 months. You can enter that amount into this pricing calculator to forecast what charges will apply to your usage. You can also learn more about how reCAPTCHA billing works here.
Note: No code changes are required to your current integration. You may continue to safely use your key on the legacy SiteVerify API endpoint even after this change. However, we also recommend that you migrate to the current CreateAssessment API endpoint to get access to all the latest reCAPTCHA features.

Dit is trouwens altijd al zo geweest het enige wat veranderd is dat ze migreren naar Google Cloud voor beheer qua portaal. De 10K assesment is er al jaren. Wees blij though dat in deze API geval je geen betaal koppeling verplicht bent. Dat is met Google maps location markers wel het geval. Dan mag je om de vijf jaar een paar cent transactie laten uitvoeren als verificatie. Al kan ik niet verzekeren ofc dat ze daar niet naar toe gaan.

Your reCAPTCHA classic key will automatically be migrated when it becomes eligible. This means that we will create a new Google Cloud project for you and migrate the key there. You will receive an email when this happens. If you would like to control which project the key becomes associated with, you can migrate it manually following these instructions.
You do not have to change your integration once the key is migrated. It should continue working on your site as it does now.

Geef jij niets om de privacy van een ander? Ooit de voorwaarden gelezen? Zie bij het kopje privacy https://www.transip.nl/knowledgebase/artikel/3005-de-captcha-op-de-transip-website.Zelf ||google.com toegevoegd aan uBO, oftewel recaptcha werken dan zeker niet meer. Sowieso kom je daar 9 van de 10 keer toch al niet voorbij. Verzenden van formulieren of het bestellen van een product/dienst gaat dat niet werken. Alt + F4 en op zoek naar een alternatief. Zouden maar fouten in je website zitten en iemand kan het door gebruik van Google Recaptcha niet melden.
